Scotch Whisky
Traditionally, there are 5 categories of Scotch Whisky:

1. Single Malt: A Scotch Whisky distilled at a single distillery from water and malted barley without the addition of any other cereals and by batch distillation in pot stills;

2. Single Grain: A Scotch Whisky distilled at a single distillery from water and malted barley with or without a whole grain of other malted or unmalted cereals and does not conform to the definition of Single Malt;

3. Blended: A blend of one or more single malts with one or more single grain Scotch Whiskys;

4. Blended Malt: A blend of single malt Scotch Whiskys distilled at one or more distilleries; and

5. Blended Grain: A blend of single grain Scotch Whiskys distilled at one or more distilleries.
